brook if you are talking about the colony trap.look a long the creeks and rivers.you will locate small ditches made by rats.these traps can catch three or four rats at a time.even mink are caught in these traps as well.you want these traps completely under water to prevent the animals from fighting.if the water is to shallow then use 110 conibears.just place two or three conibears in these channels even more if the channel is long.
